“Low ceilings and cramped rooms crowd the soul and mind” - in the West Garden project the ceilings are more than 3 meters! This is a bright minimalist apartment for a young couple who are planning to have a child in the future.
In the design we used natural materials and moderate contrasts, close to monochrome, and the highlight of the interior was the majestic doors in the ceiling.

Initially, the developer envisioned a kitchen-living room in the center of the apartment, giving the right wing for the children's room and study. We could not accept the fact that the corner window - the point of attraction of this apartment and a place to watch stunning sunsets - goes to the study. It was important to the clients that the plan was approved and that the study did not border the children's room. The input, let's face it, is not the easiest, but we did it!
We moved the kitchen to the area of the former corridor, made it passable and maximally hidden in the space. It turned out to be functional, compact and at the same time, sitting at the table or on the sofa, it is almost invisible. Instead, we realized an accent shelving unit along the entire wall behind the dining group. It serves not only as an expressive background for the dining room, but also performs a number of important functions at once - storage of bottled water and an additional workstation-transformer for the wife.
